I’m a practical person. So, if someone told me about this, my first question would be “What do we do about it?”. What’s the next step, I would want to know.
1) Stop consuming dubious products. The only way to know what to stay away from is to learn how to read labels. A rule of thumb is to stay away from big name grocery store brands that are typically not organic and filled with so many ingredients that it makes you wonder why for example a cereal should be so complex. Some keywords that disguise harmful substances may be “enriched” and “natural flavorings”. Of course, there are many others.
