Wow! I just discovered Meebo and it is pretty neat. You can log into AIM, Yahoo, Gmail Talk or MSN Messenger. Meebo is a web based IM that lets you log into your IM networks from any computer with a browser and internet connection with no firewall issues. It employs technologies (like AJAX) to make it act more like a desktop application, which dramatically improves usability. When you create a Meebo id you can be logged into all your chat networks (ie. MSN, AOL, Yahoo, and Google)Â at one time and if you add it in your blog’s sidebar people can see you when you’re online (if you choose to of course) and chat with you. They got a pretty set of bright young people behind the project. I especially like that (AJAX) girl. I love it everytime I hear the word. I am pushing my programmers to add some neat AJAX features in our application. It is coming pretty soon and I know the users will love it. Check out Meebo here.
I have been getting the hang of Freemind software. I will be using it to write the manual for our Enterprise class software. It is a perfect tool to organize thoughts and layout the structure of the application. When you don’t know where to begin with something, reach out for this software and get something started. You’ll see. The rest will come. And best of all. It is FREE!
